JULIA ANGELARD IS TAKING PART IN THE NEXT ROUND OF ROK IN JESOLO NEAR VENICE
- The upcoming weekend for Julia Angelard will once again be marked by competition on the Italian karting track.
- The 13-year-old JSTR by Jastrzębski Racing competitor will go to the Pista Azzurra track in Jesolo, where she will take part in the fourth round of the ROK Cup Italia this season.
After a two-week break, the Italian ROK Cup Italia series returns to karting tracks. This time, the facility that Julia Angelard and the JSTR by Jastrzębski Racing team also go to is the Pista Azzurra track located in Jesolo. This historic facility has been hosting karting competitions not only at the national but also international level since the 1960s. Competitors will have a track 1,045 meters long and 8 meters wide, with a characteristic serpentine which, thanks to numerous bends and hairpin turns, offers plenty of opportunities for overtaking.
Hoping for further progress
Although rain is expected in Jesolo from Wednesday to Friday, the weekend part of the track competition should take place in sunny conditions and temperatures reaching up to 20° Celsius. One thing is certain – the field will definitely be hot, and the differences between individual competitors will again be minimal, because this year’s field is extremely tight.
Julia Angelard started the last round of ROK Cup Italia phenomenally, showing solid pace throughout the weekend and placing P4, P5 and P11 in heats, which gave P7 at the start of the final. The upcoming round in Jesolo is another opportunity to discover Julia’s potential and show that she is not fighting for the title of the fastest among the girls, but for a high position in the entire group.
Julia Angelard: I can’t wait to get back on track
“I am glad that after a short break I am returning to Italy again for the 4th round of ROK Cup Italia. This time we are racing on one of the most beautifully situated tracks – right next to Venice. I can’t wait to go on the track again! I hope that the weather and the go-kart will not play tricks, so that I will be able to fight for the best possible position from the very beginning of the weekend,” emphasizes the JSTR by Jastrzębski Racing competitor.
