JULIA ANGELARD ON HER WAY TO THE FRANCIACORTA TRACK
- ROK Cup Italia heads to the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castrezzato, Italy for the third time this season.
- This coming weekend, 13-year-old Julia Angelard will once again have a chance to achieve a solid and good result, as well as advance in the series’ general classification.
- The JSTR by Jastrzębski Racing driver, who finished 12th and 18th in the finals of the previous rounds on this track, is hoping for a better result this time.
Just two weeks after the sixth round of the ROK Cup Italia, held at the Cremona Karting circuit, the field of competitors from across Italy once again gathers in the racing arena. This time, Julia Angelard and her fellow riders will compete at the Franciacorta Racing Track in Castrezzato – the same track that hosted the first and third rounds of this year’s calendar.
Third time’s a charm
In previous competitions at this venue as part of the current ROK Cup Italia calendar, the Minardi Management protégé finished 12th and 18th in the final, respectively. With her improved form and solid pace over recent race weekends, the 13-year-old Pole is aiming for an even better result this time.
Undoubtedly, her excellent knowledge of the track, where Julia Angelard competed not only this season but also last year, as well as during pre-season training – competing in the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series, held in early March – will be instrumental in achieving a good result. One thing is certain: the Polish teenager knows this racetrack intimately and will do everything she can to achieve the best possible result.
Julia Angelard: I will give my all
“Franciacorta is one of my favorite tracks. I’m glad to be back there again and racing with others. Until now, I’ve usually ridden there when it’s cold or raining. I hope the weather will be better this time, although it’s possible it will rain again next weekend. It could be interesting, and I’ll give it my all regardless of the weather”, admits the JSTR by Jastrzębski Racing driver.
