- Although some karting series have already finished competing this season, the competitors remain fully prepared to fight for the best possible results.
- Julia Angelard, as one of the fourteen Polish representatives, is heading to Cremona, where the FIA Karting World Cup will be held in a few days.
- The teenage Polish athlete knows this track very well, having shown solid pace on several occasions this season.
Although the ROK Cup Italia season has come to an end, Julia Angelard isn’t slowing down. During the break between Champions of the Future Academy rounds, the teenage Polish driver will once again be on Italian soil. The FIA Karting World Cup, which begins in a few days, offers another opportunity to compete on the Cremona Circuit, attracting the best drivers from around the world. Only fourteen Poles are in the entire field, and in the OK-N Junior category, where Julia Angelard will compete among 86 female drivers, Julia is one of only three representing Poland.
A well-known track, a strong field and a new team
During the sixth round of the ROK Cup Italia, Julia Angelard finished fourth in her group and seventh overall in the qualifying session, finishing eighth and sixth in the heats. This undoubtedly bodes well for the upcoming FIA Karting World Cup, although the field will undoubtedly be stronger. A large portion of the competitors arriving in Cremona for the event are national championship winners, promising a high-level competition.
For the 13-year-old Polish driver, the FIA Karting World Cup will also be her official debut with the Ward Racing team. Julia Angelard is writing a new chapter in her karting history, joining a strong team well-known to drivers competing in international karting series.
Julia Angelard: taking the future together
“I’m delighted that my first race with Ward Racing is in the FIA Karting World Cup. A strong field, fierce competition, and tough opponents – I expect it won’t be easy, but it’s in competitive conditions that we learn the most and the fastest. I hope that this joint start into the future in such circumstances will bring many positive moments that I will remember for a long time,” emphasizes Julia Angelard.
