JULIA ANGELARD KICKS OFF CHAMPIONS OF THE FUTURE SEASON

  • After the inauguration of the already concluded WSK Super Master Series and the start of Champions of the Future Academy series, Julia Angelard begins another series of competitions in the 2026 season.
  • This time, the teenage Polish woman will appear on the Kartodromo La Conca track, where the first round of the Champions of The Future series will be held between April 1 and April 4, 2026.
  • Just a week later, the ORLEN Motorsport Academy protégé will take part in the first round of the FIA Karting European Championship at the same track.

Preparations for the FIA Karting European Championship are entering their decisive phase. Just one week before the first round of the European Karting Championship, 14-year-old Julia Angelard will compete in the opening round of the Champions of the Future at the La Conca circuit in Muro Leccese, Italy. It is at this same venue that the battle for the title of Europe’s best will begin, so participation in the COTF will serve as intensive training for the upcoming test.

La Conca for the second and third time
The Kartodromo La Conca hosted the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, which kicked off Julia Angelard’s season this year. The protégé of the ORLEN Motorsport Academy and the More Than Equal program will appear at the same karting venue twice in early April – in just a few days, competing in the Champions of the Future series, and a week later, beginning the main battle for the championship title in the FIA Karting European Championship.

Thus, Julia Angelard – representing the colors of Birel ART and Richard Mille Young Talent Academy – enters the decisive phase of this year’s competition. Having competed in six rounds and undergone countless training sessions on the track and in the simulator, the teenage Polish athlete faces her final training session in combat conditions. This time, only competitors competing in the OK and OK-Junior categories will participate in the COTF competition, which distinguishes the series from, for example, the WSK Super Master Series, where competitors competed in eight different categories.

Julia Angelard: practices makes perfect
“As with many other sports, the saying that practice makes perfect is also true in motorsport. The upcoming Champions of the Future round at the La Conca circuit in Muro Leccese will be my second event at this track this season – and once again I will be testing myself against the best to be ready for the upcoming competition in the FIA European Karting Championship. I believe that the experience I gain in the coming days will be useful just a week later, and every kilometer covered on this track will help me find the best possible line while competing against the best in Europe,” admits the driver of Minardi Management powered by Dag Ltd.
