SAMMALISTO READY TO START ITALIAN F4 SEASON IN MISANO

After two intense days of testing in Misano, where he collected nearly 650 km of experience, Luka feels ready to kickstart his Italian F4 campaign with his new team US Racing, on May 3-4.

Rain hit the track during the first session of the day, giving Luka the opportunity to gain further experience in the wet and boosting his confidence, in case a race is run in similar conditions. Then the track dried out completely for the rest of the day, and he started to set competitive lap times straight away. His single-pace, in particular, was exceptional, which is crucial considering Misano is a really difficult track where to overtake. Its sharp, short corners – which require a quick rotation of the car – suit Luka’s driving style perfectly, therefore he often had the upper hand over his teammates.
After the second day, Luka was really happy on how testing went: pace was really strong, so he’s very confident ahead of the first round of the Italian F4 season.

Next stop: Misano (Round 1)
The long awaited moment is finally here: the season is about to start! Adapting to a new team is often a tricky and lengthy process, but Luka has found great chemistry with US Racing (which has already won multiple championships) and he’s ready to hit the ground running in what promises to be a very successful season.
