DOUBLE PODIUM AT MISANO FOR BALDASSARI, INTENSE KARTING BATTLES IN FRANCE AND GERMANY

A busy and promising weekend for our drivers, competing in various karting and car racing events across Germany, France, and Italy.
Benjamin Westwood and Nilas Malik stood out in the IAME Euro Series in Germany, delivering encouraging performances despite challenging conditions. In France, Zack Zhu narrowly missed the podium in the National Championship, confirming his competitiveness. In Italy, Thomas Baldassari was the undisputed star of the Mini Challenge at Misano, securing a double podium and establishing himself as a serious contender for victory in the upcoming rounds.

Benjamin Westwood – P26, IAME Euro Series, Wackersdorf (Germany)
The first of our drivers to hit the track over the weekend was Benjamin Westwood, competing in the German round of the IAME Euro Series. The weekend started on a high note: the young driver secured top positions in the early sessions, immediately showing strong chemistry with his new team. Unfortunately, rain during the qualifying session compromised the good work done earlier, preventing him from securing a favorable starting position. In the race, despite his efforts and demonstrated pace, Benjamin was unable to complete a full comeback, finishing in P26.
Although the final result doesn’t reflect his true potential, the weekend highlighted many positive takeaways. The team switch appears to have brought renewed energy and confidence to Benji, who once again showcased his talent and determination. If he continues on this path, results will follow soon.

Nilas Malik – P32, IAME Euro Series, Wackersdorf (Germany)
The second and last of our drivers in action in the IAME Euro Series in Germany was Nilas Malik, who had a weekend of steady improvement. Starting from P35, the young Danish driver managed to make up more than ten positions, unfortunately losing ground due to a penalty that affected his final result.
Despite the placement, Nilas showed encouraging signs in terms of race pace and competition management. His growth trajectory is evident, but now it will be crucial to focus on consistency and the ability to turn strong performances into solid results. With the potential he’s shown, Malik has all it takes to consistently fight within the top ten. The work continues, with the goal of achieving concrete results soon.

Thomas Baldassari – Mini Challenge Italy, Misano (Italy)
QUALI: P2
RACE 1: P3 / P2 Academy
RACE 2: P3 / P2 Academy

An extremely positive weekend for Thomas Baldassari, who was one of the standout performers in the Mini Challenge Italy at the Misano circuit. Right from qualifying, the young driver showed he had the pace to be among the best, narrowly missing pole position. In the races, Thomas remained consistent and composed, managing both heats skillfully and taking home a valuable double podium. A strong performance that confirms his growth and potential within the series.
The final outcome is more than positive, with two trophies and important points for the championship. There remains a slight regret for missing out on a win, but the determination and speed on display are clear signals: Baldassari is ready to aim for the top step of the podium at the next event.

Zack Zhu – P4, FFSA Academy Championship, Varennes (France)
A highly positive weekend for Zack Zhu, competing in the French Junior Karting Championship at the Varennes circuit. The young French driver showed strong competitiveness throughout the event, consistently remaining within the top five and finishing with an excellent fourth place.
Zack is once again performing at a high level, confirming his talent and ability to regularly fight at the front. The podium narrowly escaped him, but his solid and incisive performance is an encouraging sign heading into the next stages of the season.
With the WSK and the Italian Championship coming up, Zack is ready to keep pushing hard. The goal is clear: to step on that much-awaited podium, well within his reach.
