THIRD CONSECUTIVE PODIUM FOR MATTIA BUCCI, THE IMOLA ROUND ENDED WITH THE BRONZE MEDAL

The Abruzzo ace is back among the top drivers, he repeated his 2024 result

The Italian GT Endurance Championship resumed action after the summer break. At Imola, the ACI Sport event provided its perfect stage for Mattia Bucci, who, along with Scuderia Best Lap, secured third place.

Bucci, with his teammates Andrea Levy and Ivan David Mari, immediately showcased the competitiveness of the Ferrari 296 Challenge, continuing the positive trend on Saturday with pole position in the 1st Division AM of the GT Cup class.

The chaos of the race helped crew #219 climb to second place, a result that was confirmed at the end of the first 100 minutes. Despite a contact with another car suffered by a teammate, Bucci managed to secure third place, continuing his positive streak.

Mattia Bucci: “It was a weekend with ups and downs. In Free Practice, we immediately found a great pace, and I felt comfortable on the track. Despite not being able to find my best lap in Qualifying, on Saturday I secured my first career Pole Position. In the race, a contact then knocked us out of contention for the win, leaving us third. The championship gap is now wider, but that doesn’t matter because at Mugello we’ll try to get the best possible result! I want to thank Giovanni Minardi and Minardi Management, Scuderia Best Lap, my sponsors, my family, my staff, and Walter Marini and all his guys.”
