FROM SÃO PAULO TO GERMANY: DUDU SALAMONDE CHARGES INTO ROUND 3 OF THE CHAMPIONS OF THE FUTURE
Brazilian driver returns to Europe for another international karting challenge, this time on the Motorsportarena circuit in Mülsen.
Engines roar back to life for Dudu Salamonde (Minardi Management powered by DAG / EXA Tecnologia / Vero Coco / DKR / RL Eng. Design / Casa Barô / SOMA Blindados / Parolin Racing / coach: Gianluca Beggio). After a brief break back in Brazil, the São Paulo-born driver has crossed the Atlantic once again, arriving in Germany sharp-focused and ready to go full throttle. His new mission is to compete in Round 3 of the Champions of the Future series, continuing the European racing calendar.
The stage this time is the Motorsportarena in Mülsen, a circuit located nearly 300 kilometers from Berlin. The track demands maximum precision through the corners, strong steering sensitivity, and rapid sector-by-sector adaptation—qualities Salamonde has been steadily refining throughout his European campaign this season.
Early laps on German asphalt have already boosted the Brazilian’s confidence. Initial testing at the Motorsportarena delivered encouraging results, both in terms of adaptation to the circuit and overall kart performance. Dudu has shown he arrived in the heart of Europe ready to fight toe-to-toe with the best in international karting.
“We’re here in Germany now to race the Champions of the Future and the European Championship. We had our first tests, which were very positive. We adapted well to the track and managed to put in some good laps,” said Salamonde after his initial running on the circuit.
A factory driver for Parolin Racing and part of Minardi Management powered by DAG, Salamonde benefits from strong backing across the international motorsport paddock. This technical and human support is crucial to tackling a European season where every detail can make the difference in the fight for progression.
The OK category grid in Germany reflects the scale of the challenge, with no fewer than 94 drivers fighting for just 36 spots in the Final. A highly competitive environment where raw pace must be matched with strategy, consistency, and the ability to adapt in fractions of a second. For the Brazilian, this high-pressure scenario is not an obstacle—it is fuel.
“We’re going to have a strong week, with two more test sessions to keep improving and adapting as much as possible. The next few weeks will be very important for us,” Dudu added, also looking ahead to another European Karting Championship round the following week.
With full focus on this event, the third round of the 2026 Champions of the Future begins to take shape this Wednesday (3), with Salamonde taking part in free practice at the Motorsportarena. It will be a key moment to fine-tune rhythm, test setups, and build the foundation for the decisive days ahead.
On Thursday (4), Salamonde returns to the track for qualifying and the first heats, when the grid begins to take shape and early positions can prove crucial to the final outcome.
Friday (5) will feature the remaining qualifying heats, decisive races that will determine progression into the final phase of the event. Saturday (6) brings the conclusion, with the Super Heat and OK Final set to close out the German round at a high level of intensity.
To follow every overtake, braking duel, and moment of drama live, the official Champions of the Future YouTube channel will broadcast the decisive races directly from Motorsportarena in Mülsen. Dudu Salamonde will be there, proudly representing Brazil with determination, grit, and racing spirit.
