  • After less than a month’s break, Julia Angelard returns to the Italian racetracks.
  • In just a few days, the teenage Polish woman will take part in the first round of the WSK Final Cup series, scheduled for October 21-26, 2025, at the Franciacorta track.

In just a few days, the karting community from all over the world will start intense competition in an extremely strong field that is heading towards to Franciacorta, Italy. This karting venue will host the first of three rounds of the WSK Final Cup series from October 21-26, 2025. It’s the only karting event of its kind in the world, attracting nearly 400 (!) participants. Among the 72 competitors competing in the OK-Junior category is 13-year-old Polish competitor Julia Angelard.

Training in combat conditions
Every year, the WSK Final Cup marks a strong conclusion to the karting season for competitors from around the world. It’s not only one of the last opportunities to test their mettle among the top drivers, but also a chance for many competitors to test themselves in the higher category they’ll compete in next season. The WSK Final Cup often sees drivers debut in new team colors, adding a vibrant, unpredictable atmosphere to the competition, giving everyone a chance to fight for international success.

Although the Polish racer is no stranger to the Franciacorta Karting Track, Julia Angelard sees the upcoming round primarily as a solid training session in competitive conditions. After switching teams to Ward Racing, the teenage Polish driver will once again have the opportunity to showcase her best skills at this track. During this year’s ROK Cup Italia round, Julia Angelard held onto fifth place in the final heat for a long time, vying for her first podium finish of the season. The goal for the upcoming round is simple: find the best possible flow and common language with the new team, and at the same time gain confidence behind the wheel of the new kart.

Julia Angelard: I will give my all
“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming competition at the Franciacorta circuit. I enjoy coming back here; I feel good in my new team, and I hope we can find common ground as soon as possible and then fight for the top positions. I’m not aiming for a specific result, but I know what I’m capable of, and as always, I’ll give it my all,” emphasizes Julia Angelard.
