Mugello, Italy, November 2, 2026

The pursuit of progress never stops for Dudu Salamonde (Minardi Management powered by DAG / EXA Tecnologia / Vero Coco / DKR / RL Eng. Design / Casa Barô / SOMA Blindados). The São Paulo-born driver is back in Europe to continue his Formula 4 testing program, entering a phase defined by dedication and extensive mileage on track. This time, the work is taking place at the Mugello Circuit, located approximately 30 kilometers from Florence, Italy, where the Brazilian remains focused on improving his adaptation to single-seater racing.

This latest visit to Mugello marks another important chapter in Dudu Salamonde’s career. Following previous test sessions at Cremona and Cervesina, also in Italy, the driver returns to the track in pursuit of new technical challenges and greater consistency in his development. During this phase, Salamonde is driving a car operated by Trident Motorsport, continuing the process of familiarizing himself with Formula 4 machinery.

Building the Transition Through Hard Work

The transition from karting to single-seater racing demands much more than speed. Drivers must understand the car’s behavior, develop braking references, find the optimal setup, and learn how to extract performance under different track conditions. For Dudu, every test session is an opportunity to refine his skills and accelerate his development. The goal is to build a solid foundation while respecting each stage of the process, which is a fundamental part of his growth as a racing driver.

Salamonde recently returned to Brazil, where he maintained his preparation routine at the Velocitta racetrack in the countryside of São Paulo state, working with the Catelan team. The activities are part of the development plan established by Minardi Management powered by DAG, which is supporting him throughout this stage of his progression in motorsport.

“This series of test sessions is very important to me. It was a very positive day, with a lot of improvement and valuable experience gained. I’m really excited to begin the pre-season program as soon as possible,” Salamonde said, reflecting on the opening day of this week’s testing.

Taking Steps Toward 2027

There is still no confirmed date for the official announcement of the team and championship in which Dudu Salamonde will compete during the 2027 season. Until then, the priority remains on continuing his testing program and developing the skills required to take on this new stage of his career. Every session completed now contributes to building a project founded on technical, physical, and mental preparation.

At Mugello, Italy, Dudu represents more than just a desire to get behind the wheel and put the pedal to the metal. He also carries the dream of advancing in international motorsport and opening new doors for his career. The journey is still taking shape, with challenges ahead and important decisions yet to be announced, but the work is already underway.

Motorsport fans will be watching closely as the Brazilian driver continues to develop on European circuits, with supporters back home cheering him on as Salamonde pursues his place on the world motorsport stage.
