🇫🇷 - Val d’Argenton - The second Competition of FIA Karting European Championship - OK & Junior taking place in France on the Val d’Argenton circuit and this time will also see the start of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy 🏆!

A total of 244 Drivers from 62 nations on five continents are entered, with the Competition setting a new record seeing 90 Drivers entered in OK, 103 in OK-Junior and 51 in Academy.

A renowned circuit that has been graced by some of the racing greats including Nico Rosberg, Fernando Alonso, Robert Kubica, Kimi Raikkonen, and Lewis Hamilton, Val d’Argenton makes its return to the FIA Karting calendar after a 14-year absence.

The FIA Karting Academy Trophy is the only formula of its kind in the world, focusing on finding and training young talent aged between 12 and 14 during 2024. The OTK Group will supply and manage the identical Exprit/Vortex OK-Junior karts, which are allocated by drawing lots and the fairness of the equipment is reinforced by frequent engine exchanges throughout the Competition.

As a partner of the official supplier of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy, Formula Medicine will be putting on its specific Academy programme. An awareness-raising session on the risks of doping will also be offered under the aegis of the FIA.

April brought a mix of weather conditions at the Duper Trofeo Lamborghini in Imola today. From sunny mornings to windy and cloudy afternoons, the day took a dramatic turn during Giuseppe Guirreri’s race with lightning and heavy rain. These extremely challenging weather conditions posed a tough challenge and compromised a potential good result in race 1 for Giuseppe. With safety car interventions and red flags dominating the race, the circumstances were out of our control. Now, we look ahead to a more favorable day tomorrow on track for Giuseppe, who always gives his best and fights with determination. 🇮🇹 - Imola - THE LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EUROPA SET AWAY FROM IMOLA WITH OVER 50 CARS!

Six double events, 12 races and a field of over 50 cars. The 16th edition of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa starts from Imola this weekend (19-21 April).

The championship, which is contested with the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 on Hankook tyres, returns to the starting line and inaugurates on the Santerno circuit an important synergy with the FIA World Endurance Championship, which from this year sees the new Lamborghini as protagonist in the Hypercar category SC63 LMDh fielded by the Lamborghini Iron Lynx team. The car makes its European debut in Imola after taking part in the Qatar stage at the beginning of March and two weeks later in the 12 Hours of Sebring valid for the American IMSA series.

There are three rounds of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa which will take place in conjunction with the World Endurance Championship on the same weekends (Imola, Spa and Le Mans, on the occasion of the 24 Hours). Two will join the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by Aws (Nürburgring and Barcelona), while the Spanish circuit of Jerez de la Frontera will host the last stage of the three series Europe, Asia and North America in November, at the same time as the Lamborghini World Finals .

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europa returns to Imola for the third time, after having already stopped there in 2017 and 2022. There are 23 teams at the start, for a total of 88 drivers representing 28 different countries. Of these, 33 are preparing to make their absolute debut in the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand flagship store.

🇮🇹 - Triscina - ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1

There is a record number of participants registered in Sicily for the first round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship, with around 230 drivers in this event which on the International Circuit of Triscina marks a spectacular opening of the 2024 Italian season. All the major teams are already present on the Sicilian facility of national and international karting, engaged in the MINI, OK-N, OK-N Junior and KZ2 categories.
