EDUARDO SALAMONDE JOINS DAG MANAGEMENT

14/04/2026/in News /by Valerio Tinghi

We are pleased to announce the addition of the young and promising Brazilian driver Eduardo Salamonde to our agency, who also holds Portuguese and United States passports, an important factor for his future in motorsport. A talent on the rise, he is preparing to contest his final season in karting, with his sights already set on the future, particularly on single-seater racing in Formula 4.

Despite his young age, Salamonde already boasts an impressive résumé. Among his most notable achievements are the Brazilian championship title and five titles in the state of São Paulo, highlighting his consistency and competitiveness at the highest levels of South American karting. Gifted with strong determination, natural talent, and a solid work ethic, Eduardo represents one of the most exciting prospects in Brazilian and international motorsport. His development path, already rich in success, suggests significant potential as he prepares to step up to higher racing categories.

We are proud to welcome him to our agency and to support him at this crucial stage of his career. Our goal is to guide him step by step in his professional journey, providing the expertise, resources, and opportunities needed to help him reach his full potential and achieve new, ambitious milestones.

DAG: “We are extremely proud and grateful to welcome Eduardo Salamonde to our agency. Eduardo is a very promising talent coming from Brazil, and this season he will take on the full Senior karting program in Europe — a crucial step in his development as he prepares for the next phase of his career. His dedication, mindset, and ambition clearly stand out, and we strongly believe he has all the ingredients to make a successful transition to Formula 4 by the end of the season. We can’t wait to support and guide Eduardo throughout this journey, helping him grow both on and off track as he takes on this exciting new chapter. Welcome to the team, Dudu”

Eduardo Salamonde: “I’m thrilled to announce a new partnership with Minardi Management powered by DAG as I take this big step forward! Karting has been an incredible school, and now I’m ready to transition to Formula 4 and beyond! I’m super excited about all the work we’ll do together, pushing ahead in the upcoming kart races and aiming for even bigger goals!”

🏁 MONZA – THE FINAL ROUND OF THE ITALIAN GT SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP 🇮🇹🔥

One last race weekend. One iconic circuit. A season full of challenges, determination and valuable experience.

Our DAG Management driver Mattia Bucci 🇮🇹 took on the final round of the Italian GT Sprint Championship at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza, behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo #163 in the GT Cup 1st Division Pro-Am category.

It was a weekend where the final results didn’t tell the whole story. Despite a technical issue affecting Race 1 and Race 2, Mattia demonstrated impressive pace, maturity and professionalism, putting the team’s objectives first and giving his maximum until the very last lap. 💪

Because racing is not only about the finishing position. It’s about character, commitment, teamwork and the ability to deliver even when circumstances are challenging.

👏 We are proud of Mattia and the dedication he has shown throughout the season!

🎬 Relive the action, the atmosphere and the emotions of the Monza finale in our weekend recap!

🏁 WEEK 41: NOT EVERY HERO WEARS A CAPE… SOME WEAR A HELMET! 😎🔥

Five DAG drivers, three iconic tracks and one weekend filled with determination, overtakes, teamwork and valuable experience.

🇫🇷 Maxime delivered a strong P10 among 35 drivers at Le Mans—an excellent result in the highly competitive IAME Euro Cup!

🚀 Benji produced several impressive recoveries throughout the heats and fought until the very end, finishing P5 in the Consolation Race.

⚡ Vanesa was in outstanding form: P2, P2 and P1 in the heats, leading the intermediate classification! Unfortunately, a technical issue stopped her in the Final—but it certainly could not hide her winning pace.

🇮🇹 At Monza, Mattia completed another important GT Sprint weekend, delivering a disciplined team performance and keeping his focus firmly on the bigger championship objective.

🌍 Mia faced 117 drivers at her first FIA Karting World Cup in Viterbo. A demanding international debut filled with experience, learning and important steps for the future.

No trophies this time—but plenty of courage, growth and reasons to be proud. Because sometimes the most important victories are the ones that prepare you for the next one. ❤️‍🔥

🏁 IS IT TIME TO LEAVE KARTING?

THE RIGHT TIME IS NOT ALWAYS THE EARLIEST TIME.

Every young driver has a different journey. Different strengths, different ambitions, different circumstances — and a different moment when the next step makes sense.

Moving from karting to racing cars is one of the most important decisions in a young driver’s career. And it should never be based on age alone.

🏎️ Physical development and racing performance.

🧠 Mental maturity and technical readiness.

💰 Budget, sponsorship and long-term sustainability.

🌍 Career direction, visibility and future opportunities.

❤️ Personal motivation, family support and the right timing.

Sometimes staying in karting is the smartest decision. Sometimes moving into cars opens doors that should not be missed.

There is no universal answer. There is only the right answer for THAT driver.

At DAG Management & Consulting Ltd, we believe a successful racing career isn’t about moving as quickly as possible. It’s about making the right decisions at the right moments.

Because talent deserves more than just the next race. It deserves a carefully planned future.

📩 ARE YOU WONDERING WHAT THE RIGHT NEXT STEP IS FOR YOUR CHILD OR YOUR RACING CAREER?

Whether you’re considering another season in karting, Formula 4, GT or other motorsport opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU DON’T SEE ❤️🏁

Sometimes, the most important moments in motorsport happen long after the chequered flag.

A difficult race. A disappointed young driver. A parent trying to find the right words.

Do you talk about the mistakes? Offer advice? Try to make everything better? Or simply stay quiet and listen?

As parents, the instinct is often to protect, encourage and find solutions. But young drivers already have coaches, engineers and teams helping them improve their performance.

Sometimes, what they need most is something entirely different.

A safe place to be disappointed. Someone who listens without judging. The reassurance that their worth is never measured by a finishing position.

Because not every moment needs another analysis, another lesson or another conversation about racing.

Sometimes, they just need Mum or Dad. ❤️

And knowing when to step back can be one of the most important ways to support them.

KARTING IS WHERE EVERYTHING BEGINS. 🏁

But what comes next?

Leaving karting doesn’t mean there is only one road ahead — and Formula 4 is not the only answer.

At 14, 15 and 16, different doors can begin to open across international motorsport. Single-seaters, Formula 4, GT, Touring Cars, one-make championships, sport prototypes and other opportunities can all become part of the conversation depending on the driver’s age, experience, licence and individual development.

But the question should never simply be:

“How quickly can we move up?”

The better question is:

“What is the right next step for this driver?”

Because every young driver develops differently.

Some need more time in karting.
Some are ready for cars earlier.
Some belong in single-seaters.
Others may build a stronger future in GT, Touring Cars or prototypes.

There is no universal roadmap.

There is the right roadmap for the individual driver.

That is why career planning matters — understanding the regulations, evaluating the opportunities, choosing the right environment and making each step at the right moment.

A sponsor isn’t just looking for a logo on a racing suit.

They are looking for a story worth believing in.
A personality people remember.
Values they can stand behind.
And a journey they want to become part of.

In motorsport, talent may open the first door — but building a career requires much more than speed.

At DAG Management, we work to connect drivers, brands and opportunities in a way that creates real value on both sides.

Because the strongest partnerships aren’t simply about visibility.

They’re about connection.
Credibility.
Shared ambition.
And growing together.

We don’t just look for sponsors.
We build partnerships around careers.

This is why management matters.

Behind every young driver, there is often a family racing too.

Not behind the wheel — but through every early morning, every long journey, every difficult weekend and every moment of uncertainty.

Parents celebrate the podiums, but they also live the disappointments. They carry the nerves. They question decisions. They rearrange schedules, priorities and sometimes their entire lives to give their child the opportunity to pursue something extraordinary.

And perhaps that is one of the parts of motorsport we speak about too little.

Because when a young driver takes the start, the journey rarely belongs to the driver alone.

There is support.
There is sacrifice.
There is belief.

And behind all of it, there is very often a family that keeps showing up — weekend after weekend, season after season.

One driver takes the start.
But often, an entire family is behind it.
