Despite a positive start in race 3 with immediate gains in positions, Luka Sammalisto faced setbacks due to a contact by another driver that pushed him back in the field. Undeterred, he showcased his resilience by climbing up position by position once again. The race was further complicated by several safety cars and red flags, which significantly shortened the effective race time, leaving Luka with limited opportunities to advance further in the rankings. Despite these challenges, Luka displayed good speed on dry conditions, indicating his growing familiarity with the car.

This race weekend, the first after his accident in Mugello, provided valuable learning experiences for Luka. The varying weather conditions presented a tough challenge, but this experience has equipped him with a deeper understanding of the car and racing dynamics. It’s disappointing to hear that it wasn’t our race weekend. An unfortunate Qualifying session significantly impacted the performance and results of race 1 and 2 for our beloved Mrs. Speed. Starting from the back of the grid is always a challenging situation, akin to a lottery with hopes of survival. This weekend didn’t provide the opportunity for her to showcase her true potential, which is disheartening.

However, after the rain comes the sun, and we are confident that brighter days are ahead for Julia. Despite the setbacks, her talent and determination will shine through, and she will have the chance to demonstrate her skills and capabilities on the track. 🇦🇹 - REDBULL RING SPIELBERG - EURO 4 CHAMPIONSHIP - DAY 3️⃣

Race 2 at the Euro 4 Championship Round 2 presented a tough challenge for Luka Sammalisto at the rain-soaked Red Bull Ring in Austria. The continuous rain for over 22 hours created near-zero visibility on the track, making conditions extremely difficult for the drivers. To ensure a safe start, the driver field had to complete two laps behind the safety car before the race commenced. Despite these extreme conditions, Luka’s performance was commendable. Despite a minor mistake at the start, he managed to gain 7 positions and finished seventeenth overall. Well done, mate!

Take the lessons learned from this challenging race and apply them to the next race this afternoon. Use this experience to further improve and showcase your skills on the track.
