FIVE DRIVERS ON TRACK, TWO PODIUM RESULTS AND A WEEKEND FULL OF PROGRESS, RECOVERIES AND INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Race Weekend 39 saw five DAG Management drivers competing simultaneously across four countries and very different environments: the ACI Karting Italian Championship in Viterbo, the IAME Series Benelux in Mariembourg, the FIA CEZ Championship / RMC Austria in Kecskemét and the Hyundai Karting Spanish Championship at Aspar.

It was an intense weekend featuring two important podium results and, above all, many clear signs of development. Sasha secured an excellent P2 in the Rookie classification at Mariembourg, while Mia dominated the RMC Austria classification during the decisive stages in Kecskemét and earned the prestigious ticket to the Rotax Grand Final in Portimão. Alongside them, Nilas produced an extraordinary fifteen-position recovery in the Final, Brodi showed increasingly impressive pace after a difficult start, and Tariq confirmed that the speed is there to continue building upon.

For DAG Management, the value of a race weekend is not measured solely by the number of trophies. We look at how each driver faces difficulties, responds to mistakes, learns a new track or material, improves racecraft and turns experience into a concrete step towards the future.

We are therefore satisfied and proud of all five of our drivers. As always, our sincere thanks go to the families for their trust, and to the teams, mechanics, engineers, coaches and everyone working behind the scenes to allow our young drivers to continue developing and competing internationally.

ACI KARTING ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP – VITERBO

TARIQ SOOFI – #150 – MINI GR.3

The speed is there: an important weekend for building confidence and experience

A challenging but highly valuable weekend for Tariq Soofi in a 48-driver Mini Gr.3 field.

After P16 in his group in Official Free Practice, Tariq finished Qualifying Practice P18 in group and P35 overall. In the first heat he immediately showed good recovery ability, gaining four positions to finish P14.

The following day was more complicated. In the second heat, a spin together with not starting from the correct grid position affected the result; in the third heat, an incident also resulted in a penalty from the stewards.

Tariq finished the Pre-Final P24 and, P44 after the Pre-Finals, did not qualify for the Final.

However, the result does not tell the whole story. The speed is there and the preparation is in place. The next step is to turn those qualities into full confidence in his own abilities. Tariq has talent and, once he truly believes in what he can do, he will have the tools to fight much further forward. We continue to work with him on exactly this process, with confidence and patience.

BRODI COOPER DOWLING – #418 – OKJ-N

Strong recoveries after a difficult start: +10, +6, +5 and +10 positions

For Brodi Cooper Dowling, Viterbo was above all a weekend of adaptation and strong progression.

Arriving without specific preparation for the event, Brodi had to quickly understand both the track and the material in a very large field of 76 drivers. After recording no time in Official Free Practice following a spin, he qualified P22 in his group and P65 overall.

From that point, a very positive response began. After finishing the first heat P28, Brodi gained ten positions in the second to finish P16. On Sunday he continued with two more recoveries: six places gained to P20 and five more to P21.

The progression continued in the Pre-Final, where Brodi gained another ten positions to finish P18. P51 after the Pre-Final was not enough to reach the Final, but the pace shown during the latter stages of the event was highly encouraging.

Once Brodi had fully understood the track and material, he showed impressive pace, overtaking ability and determination. It came too late to turn that performance into Final qualification, but the development shown throughout the weekend is exactly what makes us very positive about the work ahead.

IAME SERIES BENELUX – MARIEMBOURG

SASHA – #112 – X30 JUNIOR

P12 in the Final after gaining five positions and P2 Rookie

A highly convincing debut for Sasha in an extremely competitive environment such as the IAME Series Benelux.

We placed him into a 47-driver field, many of them highly experienced with both the circuit and the championship. Despite this, Sasha showed from the opening sessions that he could compete strongly: P9 in the second Non-Qualifying Practice and P10 in his qualifying group, giving him P20 overall.

He remained very consistent through the heats. After P11 in the opening heat, Sunday brought P6 in the Warm-Up and two consecutive P9 finishes in the Qualifying Heats, gaining one position in each. This moved him to P17 after the heats.

In the Final, Sasha completed the weekend with an excellent race: five positions gained, P12 overall and, most importantly, a superb P2 in the Rookie classification.

A thoroughly deserved podium that makes us particularly happy. To be immediately competitive in a new environment, consistently close to the Top 10 and finish with P2 Rookie represents a very promising start. We are proud of the way Sasha approached this challenge and of the maturity he demonstrated.

FIA CEZ CHAMPIONSHIP / RMC AUSTRIA – KECSKEMÉT

MIA ZANKI – #216 – ROTAX MAX JUNIOR

P1 RMC Austria in the decisive stages and a ticket to the Rotax Grand Final in Portimão

A special weekend for Mia Zanki, ending with one of the most important achievements of her season: a ticket to compete in the Rotax Grand Final in Portimão.

On Saturday, Mia immediately demonstrated front-running pace. In the Non-Qualifying Practice sessions she recorded P1, two consecutive P2 finishes and finally P4 overall, while ranking P1 in RMC Austria.

In Qualifying Practice she finished P8 overall in FIA CEZ and P2 in RMC Austria, remaining firmly in contention for the weekend’s main objective.

Sunday began with P3 in the Warm-Up. In the Pre-Final, Mia finished P4 overall in FIA CEZ and P1 in RMC Austria. In the Final she took P5 overall and again P1 RMC Austria: the decisive result that earned her the ticket to the Rotax Grand Final in Portimão.

Mia confirmed her competitiveness again in the Super Final, finishing P4 overall and once more P1 in RMC Austria.

This achievement rewards her speed, consistency and all the work carried out throughout the season. We are extremely proud of Mia and delighted to see her earn the opportunity to compete on a world stage at the Rotax Grand Final. Congratulations to Mia, her family and the entire team on this important milestone.

HYUNDAI KARTING SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP – ROUND 4, ASPAR

NILAS MALIK – #22 – JUNIOR

Extraordinary Final: from P22 to P7 with fifteen positions gained

A weekend completed with an exceptional recovery drive for Nilas Malik at Aspar.

The Free Practice sessions were mixed, but Nilas responded in qualifying with P7 in his group and P13 overall, putting himself in an interesting position for the heats.

In the first heat he gained three places to finish P6. The second was much more difficult, with fifteen positions lost, leaving him P23 after the heats.

On Sunday, Nilas began rebuilding his weekend. He was P3 in the Super Heat Warm-Up and then finished the Super Heat P6 after gaining five positions. Before the Final, he was classified P22.

It was in the Final that one of the most significant performances of DAG’s entire weekend arrived: Nilas gained fifteen positions, climbing from P22 to an outstanding P7.

A race that demonstrated character, speed and the ability to respond. After a difficult phase of the weekend, Nilas never stopped fighting and transformed a low starting position into a highly valuable Top 10. We are very proud of his determination and the quality of his recovery.

TWO PODIUM RESULTS, BUT ABOVE ALL FIVE DRIVERS CONTINUING TO GROW

Race Weekend 39 closes with two important podium results and many reasons for DAG Management to be satisfied.

Sasha brings home P2 Rookie at Mariembourg after a highly convincing debut. Mia achieves the RMC Austria result and, above all, secures her ticket to the Rotax Grand Final in Portimão. Nilas produces a spectacular fifteen-position recovery to P7 in the Aspar Final. Brodi demonstrates impressive development throughout the Viterbo weekend with several major recoveries, while Tariq continues to show speed that now needs to be matched by increasing confidence in his own abilities.

Five different stories, all equally important. For us, standing beside a driver means recognising the value of a podium, but also seeing what is developing behind a difficult result: speed, confidence, overtaking ability, pressure management and maturity.

We are proud of every one of our drivers and grateful to their families, teams and everyone who shares this journey with us. We continue building, race after race, with the same passion and with our focus already on the next objective.
