JAMES EGOZI SELECTED FOR THE 19TH FEDERAL HIGH SCHOOL SUPERCOURSE

Back from an intense season in karting with the colors of the Tony Kart Racing Team, James Egozi has been selected by the Aci Sport Federal School to participate in the 19th super course scheduled from 22nd to 25th November in Vallelunga.

Six very young drivers, four Italians and two international profiles, all selected from the karting sector, were invited to participate in the four days of internship on the Roman circuit. The American born in 2007 was selected by the Ferrari Driver Academy, which once again this season has renewed the synergy with the Federation and with ACI, with the common goal of finding the champions of the future.

James, together with his classmates, will have the opportunity to measure themselves in a professional context, through a program full of activities that will serve as a useful evaluation tool for the Federal School commission to choose the winner. Tuesday 22 November is dedicated to psycho-physical assessments by Formula Medicine. On Wednesday the boys will start moving on the track, starting with the covered-wheel cars on the Renault Clio RS, brought to Vallelunga through Fast Lane Promotion and prepared by Progetto E20.

The last two days will instead be entirely dedicated to Formula 4, the Tatuus single-seaters with which the Italian F.4 Championship is also raced, under the technical management of Iron Lynx. The practical part, developed both behind the wheel and outside the cockpit, will be alternated with theoretical lessons. Each student will be supported by a Federal Instructor dedicated to him, in addition to the specialists of the Research and Training section of the School. In the afternoon of Friday 25 November, after the race simulation, the best driver of the Supercorso will be awarded while the boy who stands out for his passion and sportsmanship will be awarded the Cristiano del Balzo Award, dedicated to “Gero” the historic Director of the Federal School.
