SILKUNAS CROWNED COFTAP CHAMPION, TOUGH WEEKEND FOR SOOFI IN ROTAX

Another intense and emotional race weekend for our agency, active on multiple fronts with many drivers on track giving their all. At Al Forsan, the final round of the COFTAP took place, where Silkunas claimed victory both in the race and in the overall championship. Also starring in the United Arab Emirates were Silkunaite and Angelard. Finally, wrapping up the weekend was Tariq Soofi, competing in the Rotax Grand Finals in Bahrain.

Tariq Soofi – P31 – Rotax Grand Finals, Bahrain
A challenging weekend for Tariq, who took part in the Rotax Grand Finals in Bahrain. After a promising start, the young driver qualified in twelfth position for the final. However, an early-race contact forced him to restart from the back of the pack. Despite this setback, Tariq pushed hard and put together an impressive comeback to P23, later classified P31 due to a five-second penalty stemming from the initial contact.
Tariq ends the weekend with some disappointment, but the determination and fighting spirit he showed are very encouraging signs for next year. Despite his young age, Soofi approaches racing with a methodical and mature mindset, similar to that of already established drivers. Continuing on this path, he can certainly aim high and aspire to the top levels of motorsport.

Julia Angelard – Champions Of The Future Academy Program, Al Forsan (UAE), Junior Category
RACE 1: P14
RACE 2: DNF
TOTAL CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSIFICATION: P14
Final COFTAP round at Al Forsan for Julia Angelard. The young Polish driver experienced a difficult weekend filled with ups and downs: the pace was there, but it wasn’t enough to bring home the desired results.
Julia finishes the championship in P14, a position that—considering her first year in the category—still represents a solid base from which to build and grow. Now it’s time to recharge and prepare for next season, with the clear goal of returning stronger than ever and fighting for the title in 2026.

Vanesa Silkunaite – Champions Of The Future Academy Program, Al Forsan (UAE), Senior Category
RACE 1: DNF
RACE 2: P8
TOTAL CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSIFICATION: P11
In the Senior category, Vanesa Silkunaite took to the track for the final COFTAP round. The young Lithuanian started with great confidence: in the first final, while battling for the top five, a contact forced her to retire, undoing all the good she had shown up to that point. In the second final, she finished P8, fighting hard and confirming excellent speed.
For next year, Vanesa’s goal must be to fight for the championship. This season she began in the Junior category, moving up to Senior only halfway through the year. Her final P11 is therefore an encouraging result, achieved despite competing in only half the races of her rivals.

Markas Silkunas – Champions Of The Future Academy Program, Al Forsan (UAE), Senior Category
RACE 1: P1
RACE 2: P4
TOTAL CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSIFICATION: P1
A sensational season finale for Markas Silkunas, who ends his karting career by winning the COFTAP title.
The young Lithuanian made his intentions clear right away: he dominated Race 1 with authority, securing the championship mathematically thanks to an outstanding performance. In Race 2, now free from pressure, he drove smartly and brought home a solid P4, completing a weekend to remember.
For Markas, this is a monumental achievement marking a key step in his career. After narrowly missing out on the title last year, he dominated this season from start to finish, leaving his mark and earning a thoroughly deserved championship victory.
Now a new chapter begins: it’s time to say goodbye to karting and dive into the world of Formula 4 single-seaters with the same determination, talent, and hunger for victory.
