Race Weekend 38 once again took DAG Management across several international stages, with five drivers competing in Spain, Poland, Portugal and Hungary in very different disciplines and environments: from the prestigious 24H of Barcelona to Touring Car and Endurance competition, as well as national and Rotax karting championships.

It was a weekend that perfectly reflected how motorsport is made not only of results, speed and podiums, but also of unexpected challenges, endurance, the ability to react and continuous development. Our five drivers faced very different situations and, once again, each of them gave us reasons to be satisfied and proud.

Markas Šilkūnas dominated his class in Poland, taking pole position and three class victories across the BMW Turbo Cup and Endurance. Brodi Cooper Dowling produced an excellent progression in Portimão all the way to P3 in Final 3. Mia Zanki showed front-running pace in Budapest with P1 in practice, Warm-Up and qualifying before finishing the Final on the podium. Julia Angelard remained consistently among the leading positions in Poland, while Miguel M. Garcia faced the demanding 24H of Barcelona until an engine failure ended the race after 137 laps.

For DAG Management, every weekend is first and foremost part of a longer journey. We are grateful to our drivers for their commitment and professionalism, to their families for their trust, and to the teams, mechanics, engineers, coaches and partners who make this work possible. Results matter, but so does the progress we see from race to race.

MICHELIN 24H SERIES – 24H OF BARCELONA

MIGUEL M. GARCIA – #69 – GT3

137 laps completed before retirement due to engine failure

One of the toughest challenges of Race Weekend 38 saw Miguel M. Garcia competing in the 24H of Barcelona, part of the Michelin 24H Series.

The work began on Wednesday with an excellent P4 overall and in class in the morning Free Practice session, followed by P9 in the afternoon. Across the following sessions, the crew continued preparing the car and strategy for a race in which reliability, management and teamwork are fundamental.

On Friday, Miguel and the team finished Free Practice P11 overall and in class, followed by P13 overall and P12 in class in the first qualifying session. The following qualifying sessions were not contested as part of the team’s strategy to preserve the tyres.

The race started at noon on Saturday. Miguel and the crew took on the long-distance challenge until, after 137 laps, an engine failure unfortunately forced the car into retirement.

It is always difficult to see a 24-hour race end because of a technical problem, particularly after all the preparation involved. Nevertheless, the experience gained, the pace shown in the opening sessions and the value of taking on one of the most demanding endurance challenges on the calendar remain. We are proud of Miguel and the entire crew for their work.

BALTIC TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP – ROUND 5, TOR POZNAN

MARKAS ŠILKŪNAS – #670 – BMW TURBO CUP / ENDURANCE

Pole position and three class victories in an exceptional weekend

Another extremely positive weekend for Markas Šilkūnas, this time starring at Tor Poznan across the BMW Turbo Cup and Endurance.

Markas started in the best possible way by taking both overall and class pole position in BMW Turbo Cup qualifying. In Endurance qualifying he also secured P1 in class, with P14 overall.

On Saturday he converted that speed into concrete results. In BMW Turbo Cup Race 1, Markas finished P3 overall and P1 in class, immediately repeating the result in Race 2: another P3 overall and another class victory.

The programme concluded with the BATCC Endurance race, where Markas finished P11 overall and once again P1 in class.

Pole position, three class victories and two overall P3 finishes in the BMW Turbo Cup make for an excellent weekend. Once again, Markas demonstrated his ability to adapt, compete and deliver important results across different categories. We are extremely satisfied and proud of the maturity and consistency he continues to show.

POLISH CHAMPIONSHIP – ROUND 5, AUTODROM BILGORAJ

JULIA ANGELARD – #103 – JUNIOR OK

Consistently among the leading positions throughout the weekend

A solid and consistent weekend for Julia Angelard in Round 5 of the Polish Championship.

Julia started immediately with an excellent P2 in Free Practice 1. After P7 in the second session, she secured P4 in qualifying, once again confirming her competitiveness from the opening stages of the event.

In Saturday’s races she finished P5 in Race 1 and P6 in Race 2. On Sunday she was immediately back near the front with P2 in the Warm-Up, before taking P4 in Race 3 and P5 in Race 4.

Four races completed consistently between P4 and P6, together with pace that remained close to the leading positions, make this another positive weekend in Julia’s development. We are proud of the consistency she is showing and of her ability to remain competitive through every phase of a race weekend.

ROTAX RMC PORTUGAL – PORTIMÃO

BRODI COOPER DOWLING – #367 – ROTAX MAX JUNIOR

Strong progression all the way to P3 in Final 3

A very strong progression throughout the weekend for Brodi Cooper Dowling at Portimão.

After P9 and P19 in Free Practice and P15 in qualifying, Brodi immediately began moving forward. In Final 1 he recovered to P7, showing very positive pace and overtaking ability.

On Sunday the trend continued: P6 in the Warm-Up, followed by an excellent P4 in Final 2 and finally P3 in Final 3.

From P15 in qualifying to the podium in the final race: this is exactly the kind of progression that makes us particularly satisfied. Brodi finished P5 overall, completing a weekend of constant improvement and once again demonstrating determination and the ability to improve session after session.

We are very proud of the work completed and of the way he built the result without ever stopping pushing.

ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE HUNGARY – BUDAPEST

MIA ZANKI – #216 – ROTAX MAX JUNIOR

P1 in practice, P1 in Warm-Up, pole position and P3 in the Final

A weekend of outstanding speed for Mia Zanki in Budapest, where she showed from the opening sessions that she was one of the leading contenders in the Junior category.

On Saturday, Mia maintained a very high level throughout Free Practice: P3, P2, P3, P3 and finally P1 in the fifth session.

On Sunday she started exactly where she had finished: P1 in the Warm-Up and then an excellent P1 in Qualifying Practice, securing pole position.

The Pre-Final ended in P5, but Mia responded in the Final by returning to the leading positions and taking a strong P3. Her overall result for the weekend was P4.

P1 pace, pole position and a podium in the Final represent an extremely positive weekend. We are very satisfied with Mia’s progress and, above all, with her ability to demonstrate front-running speed consistently throughout the event.

FIVE DRIVERS, FIVE JOURNEYS CONTINUING TO GROW

Race Weekend 38 closes with five DAG Management drivers competing across four countries and many reasons to look forward with satisfaction.

Markas collected a pole position and three class victories at Tor Poznan; Brodi transformed P15 in qualifying into P3 in the final race; Mia secured pole position and P3 in the Budapest Final; Julia confirmed excellent consistency near the front; and Miguel took on the challenge of the 24H of Barcelona until a mechanical failure ended his race.

Different results and different disciplines, but the same approach: work, analyse, grow and continue building. This is what we want to see from our drivers and what makes us proud of the work we are doing together.
