For Riccardo, it was a weekend spent to find the pace and the right feeling with new team and CRG new material, in view of next round on La Conca kart track and starting the CIK FIA European KZ2.

“I had never been so long without driving. Five months is a really long period of forced stop. I knew it was not easy, but not so much. Athletically, kart is a selective vehicle and you as soon as “stop” you pay the consequences. The weekend of Adria was important because it gave me the chance to race again and check my condition. Moreover, I had to quickly learn Rovigo’s circuit, where I had never raced. Unfortunately, a puncture in Qualifying made me loose sixteen positions, moving from eighth to last place. When you start so far back, it is hard to recover“ ” Riccardo concludes.“I am very happy with the arrival of Riccardo, both because we are talking about a very good driver and we now have our bearer in KZ that will achieve great results the manager Giovanni Minardi comments

“The arrival of Riccardo makes us pleased, because with him we are going to be in the top category, the KZ, where I won two European Championships. Riccardo is definitely one of the most emerging Italian drivers, and the missed results of 2014 were due to a lack of his competitiveness. Thanks to Renda Racing Team, he will race with a Wild Card agreement, with CRG materials. He relied on these materials and he worked well in the final, despite not being in top athletic condition“ Alberto Tonti, the supervisor Minardi Kart section analyses

This year begins a new chapter of my sporting activity alongside the Minardi Management. An incentive more to do well”, Gianni Vigorito comments.
