KART – MINARDI MANAGEMENT AND VIGORITO TOGETHER IN WSK

On the occasion of the WSK Gold Cup signed their partnership, starting their collaboration. Minardi Management e Gianni Vigorito. With this champion from Sturno (Av), the presence of Minardi Management consolidates its position in karting, adding another element to its team, after Karol Basz and Joao Vieira. Nearly twelve months after the last race in KF, the appointment at Adria International Raceway helped the bearer of OK1 Racing Team find the right pace. A weekend characterised by some technical problems and a puncture that denied Gianni the opportunity to better express his potential, closing the event with the twelfth place in the final. From next week, the WSK Master Series will still start at the Adria International Raceway in Rovigo.

“I am really happy to start working alongside Gianni. Since 2012 I was trying to get him in my team. Gold Cup has been useful to remove some rust, after a 2014 away from tracks. We have signed a very interesting agreement with OK1 Racing Team, especially in the future. At Adria Gianni has not been particularly lucky, but certainly as early as next weekend we can fight for more important positions”, ” the manager Giovanni Minardi says

“Considering that it was my first race with the new team, after a year without racing, it was not bad. We were unlucky in the rounds on Saturday, in which I did not even have a lap, starting last in the pre-final. However, I managed to recover up to the 12th position. In the final, I had a great start, taking me up to the fifth place, but I closed in P12, because of some problems. I am aware that there is much work to do, but I am here for. This year begins a new chapter of my sporting activity alongside the Minardi Management. An incentive more to do well”, Gianni Vigorito comments.

“It has not been certainly the luckiest weekend for Gianni, but he has showed to have found rapidly pace and performances, in order to stay among the top six of the class. He is come back to competitions after nearly twelve months of absence and the Gold Cup has been the perfect opportunity to remove o bit of “rust”. I saw a good pace”, the supervisor of Minardi Kart, Alberto Tonti, analyzes.
