SWEDISH GIRL MILLA SJÖSTRAND JOINS MINARDI MANAGEMENT

We are pleased to announce that the Swedish driver born in 2008, Milla Sjöstrand, becomes part of the large Minardi Management family.
Milla has participated in various Championships in Sweden up until this year and finally in 2024, she will participate in a Championship outside of Sweden.
We decided together with her to participate at the Rotax Dutch Championship, divided into 8 weekends between Holland, Belgium and Germany, and then in 2025 take part in an even more international Championship, in preparation for the car debut in the 2026 season. Moreover, another fact which makes us really proud to have her on board is, that she was selected three times to participate at the FIA Girls on Track Rising Stars, both in the category Junior and Senior. An evidence that she is on fire!

Giovanni Minardi: “I am very happy that Milla is joining our Agency and that we are adding another pink quote to the team.
Milla has shown on several occasions that she is a very fast girl and with the program we are building I hope we can show it to everyone very soon. Milla has a beautiful attitude on and off track and she presents a very interesting package for the female world of Motorsport”.

Milla Sjöstrand: “I am happy to announce that I am working together with Minardi Management. Minardi Management is working on giving me the best conditions, both now and for the future. I am excited for what lies ahead and and sure we will find the right route towards my dream of racing at the highest level. This year I am racing in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium with Team Kartstore Benelux supported by MP Motorsport. It’s a big challenge to race there against drivers who have grown up on those tracks, but I enjoy a good challenge. I am sure what I learn this year will be a big asset to me in the future, and Minardi management is an important part of it”.

🇮🇹 - MUGELLO - F4 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 4

The Mugello Circuit is set to host the exciting fourth round of the Italian F.4 Championship, promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion. The upcoming weekend, July 13-14, will feature a tightly contested competition among drivers from over 20 different nations, deployed by 11 Teams, all determined to leave their mark on one of Italy’s most challenging circuits.

The atmosphere at the Mugello Circuit promises to be electric, filled with expectations and adrenaline, as motorsport enthusiasts prepare for a weekend of thrilling on-track battles. This fourth round of the seven-round season also marks the prelude to the championship’s European tour, beginning with the next event at Paul Ricard in France the following week, in a final sprint before the summer break.

The schedule includes free practices on Friday, starting from 8:30 to 9:10, and again from 12:20 to 13:00. Qualifying sessions will follow in the evening, from 17:20 to 17:35 for the first session, and from 17:45 to 18:00 for the second session. Saturday will see the first races of the weekend: Race 1 starting at 11:20; Race 2 kicking off at 18:55. The final race of the weekend will then take place on Sunday ready to start at 11:20.

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT TO START AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE WITH A SUPPORT OF A MANAGEMENT FOR A YOUNG DRIVER?

After Giovanni’s opinion it’s very important for a young driver to be supported, because the motorsport is a very competitive and complicate environment and therefore knowing how to move through it taking advantage of his long years experience, knowledge and personal network can make at the end of the day the difference.
Motorsport and Formula series in particular allow only few drivers to reach the top of the success.
For sure a management isn’t a guarantee and only one part of the success, which has to be completed by the driver’s talent and capacity demonstrated on the track collecting good results.
Unfortunately talent today is not enough.
Motorsport and the step from karting to Formula is becoming more and more expensive, but nobody thinks about this when the kids are in the categories of Mini and OKJ.
Normally when the drivers arrive to the category of OK they get for the first time really confrontated with the huge costs of Formula sport and understand that they will need immediately or more ahead support to be able to approach the next step.
But at this age it’s becoming very difficult to get a young driver into a necessary Formula 1 team programme, an academy or in a private team support.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A MANAGEMENT?
We, as a management of young drivers already from the category of Mini on, have to work hard and start to “present” our young talents to one of these F1 team programmes, academies or also private Kart or Formula teams.
As early we find such a situation for young drivers and get explained why it’s important to invest in the driver’s future, as early the family has to support less costs by themselves.
Giovanni Minardi has the opinion that the driver should concentrate on the races and we advise him how to present on and beside the track.
We teach how to behave with the media and eventual sponsors / supporters and take care of his physical and mental fitness.

Positive day at the French Championship for our driver Zack Zhu. After a full day of Free Practice yesterday and a fantastic second place in qualifying, today all focus was on the heats. Zack had three heats in total, starting with a solid fifth place in the first heat this morning, followed by an excellent victory in the second heat. Unfortunately, an unfair contact by another driver in the third heat meant Zack finished fourteenth. Tomorrow, Zack will start fourth in the super manche, and he will need all our support and fingers crossed! Let’s go Zack! Keep pushing and giving it your all. We believe in you and know you have what it takes to come out on top in the super manche. Good luck tomorrow, we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! #TeamZack 🏁👊🏆

🇱🇹 - LITHUANIA - BALTIC CUP ROUND 2

A brilliant weekend for both of our Lithuanian drivers, Vanesa Silkunaite in OKJ and Markas Silkunas in OK, participating in the Baltic Cup 2024. After the first round in Latvia, the second round took place at the home of our two drivers, before the final round will be held in August in Estonia. Vanesa finished today in an excellent second place on the podium and Markas won in his category OK. Now a few days of rest and then off to Sweden for testing! Congratulations to both of them!

The sun was shining brightly as Achille Rea revved his engine, preparing to hit the track at Franciacorta for the WSK Euro Series Round 1. The roar of his kart filled the air as he sped down the straightaway, his focus sharp and his determination unwavering.

As he navigated the twists and turns of the circuit, his skill and precision were evident in every move he made. With each lap, Achille pushed himself to the limit, his passion for racing driving him forward with every corner he conquered. The competition was fierce, but he held his own, showcasing his talent and determination with every lap he completed.

As he reflected on the day’s events, Achille knew that he was truly in his element on the track. With the wind in his hair and the sound of the engine in his ears, he felt alive and free, ready to take on whatever challenges came his way.

And as he looked back on these beautiful pictures of him in action on track, he knew that he was meant to be a racer, destined to leave his mark on the world of motorsport. The lion had roared, and he had shown the world what he was capable of.

We had a positive race weekend at Franciacorta with eight of our drivers showcasing their talent on the track. The weekend was filled with energy, passion, and moments of both triumph and challenge. Despite the ups and downs, our focus remained on giving our best and pushing ourselves to new heights.

Each of our drivers made us proud with their performance, demonstrating not only skill and intelligence but also a unique ability to create magic on the track. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented individuals and witness their growth and progress in the right direction.
